Moore County Chamber of Commerce
serves the businesses of Moore County, North Carolina and

vision of its citizens. The Moore County Chamber of Commerce serves the Village
of Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, West End, Seven Lakes, Rockingham, Vass,
Lakeview, Carthage, Cameron, Whispering Pines, Robbins, Taylortown, Foxfire, and
Pinebluff, NC.
Moore County is
strategically located midway between New York and Florida and halfway between
the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Approximately 5.9 million
people live within a 100 mile radius of the county. Raleigh, the state capital,
the Research Triangle Park and the Raleigh-Durham Airport are within a one hour
drive of the county. Other metropolitan areas, including Greensboro,
Winston-Salem, Fayetteville and Charlotte are within a one to two hour drive.
Moore County's
excellent location is just one reason why the quality of life here is so
exceptional. A temperate climate, a good education system, quality
transportation networks and exceptional healthcare create a mix that affords

Moore County can be
reached directly by U.S. Highways 1 and 15-501 and N.C. Highways 211, 2 and 5.
Interstate 73/74 is nearly contiguous to the western boundary of Moore County.
Interstates 95, 85, and 40 are all easily accessible in less than one hour.
Moore County also has its own commercial and general aviation airport serving
the county with five flights per day connecting to Douglas International in
Charlotte. Other airports accessible within one to two hours are the Piedmont
Triad International Airport, Raleigh-Durham International and Charlotte-Douglas
International Airport.
